Please read this Health & Fitness Disclaimer before using figperformance.com or starting any program with Fig Performance, operated by Train With Dan Inc.
1. Not medical advice
Information on this website and from our coaches is general fitness information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our coaches are fitness professionals, not physicians or physical therapists. Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this site or heard from a coach.
2. Talk to your physician first
Check with your physician before starting any exercise, nutrition, or recovery program. This matters especially if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, joint or back problems, a recent injury or surgery, or any other medical condition, or if you take medication. If you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort while exercising, stop right away and seek medical attention if needed.
3. Pain and problem areas
If you tell us about pain or problem areas, such as your lower back, knees, hips, shoulders, or neck, we’ll take that into account when planning your training. We do not diagnose or treat injuries or medical conditions. If you have ongoing or severe pain, see a qualified healthcare provider.
4. Body-composition scans and recovery tools
InBody body-composition scans, red light therapy, and vibration therapy are offered for general wellness and fitness tracking. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and they are not a substitute for medical care. Some people should not use certain recovery tools, for example during pregnancy or with an implanted medical device. Tell us about any medical condition, and ask your physician if you’re unsure.
5. Individual results vary
Everyone’s body, history, and effort are different. Any results depend on many factors, including consistency, nutrition, sleep, genetics, and health. We make no guarantee of any specific result, such as weight loss, strength gains, body-composition changes, or pain relief.
6. Assumption of risk
Exercise, strength training, and the use of fitness and recovery equipment involve inherent risks. These include muscle strains and sprains, joint injuries, falls, aggravation of existing conditions, cardiovascular events, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. By participating in any Fig Performance program, class, session, or facility use, you voluntarily accept these risks, to the extent permitted by law. You agree to follow your coach’s instructions and facility rules, use equipment properly, and tell us about any health changes. Before you train, we may ask you to sign a separate written agreement and liability waiver, and that agreement governs your participation.
