FAQ

Straight answers.

Why am I not losing weight even though I eat healthy and exercise?

The most common reasons are eating slightly more than you burn (even with healthy food), too little protein, workouts that don't progressively challenge your muscles, poor sleep, and long hours sitting. The scale can also hide fat loss if you're gaining muscle. Measuring body composition shows what's really happening.

Is it harder to lose weight after 40?

It often feels harder because muscle tends to decline with age unless you train for it, and busy careers squeeze sleep, movement and meal prep. Strength training, enough protein and consistent tracking make a big difference.

Can I be losing fat without losing weight?

Yes. If you're building muscle while losing fat, your weight can stay about the same while your body composition improves. An InBody scan can show the change the scale misses.

Should I do more cardio to lose weight?

Cardio is good for your heart and burns calories, but more cardio alone usually isn't the answer after 40. Make progressive strength training the base, add daily walking, and get nutrition right.

When should I see a doctor about not losing weight?

If you've been consistent with nutrition, training and sleep for a few months without change, or you notice other symptoms, talk to your doctor. Thyroid issues, hormone changes and some medications can affect weight.
